QuickTime Alternative 2 icon

Maybe you remember my previous QuickTime Alternative set? With all the colors? Well, I’ve got a lot of constructive feedback on them so I’ve created a new set and in my opinion it is much better.

Instead of starting in PhotoShop I’ve used Cinema 4D. A few years ago I used to model things with it (e.g. robots), not on a very high level thought and I’ve quit doing that, it was to time consuming. I stil know my way around c4D though and so I’ve built the basic structure for the QuickTime icon in c4D.

After that was done it was just simply rendering it, importing into PhotoShop and finish it. Hopefully you like it, I haven’t made all those colors again, only a gold, black, blue, darker blue and grey version. Free for personal use like always, otherwise contact me. iContainer, ico, icns, icon, png’s are all included.

Yet Another iPhone shelf wallpaper (RR)

There are a lot of iPhone shelf wallpapers so this one isn’t really original, but most of them are woodstyle, doesn’t fit properly or aren’t RR (Retina Ready) – so I decided to make one myself, didn’t took that long though. Anyway, no harm in sharing it, enjoy!

Comes in four colors: grey, green, red and blue. I’ve tested it on my iPhone 4 and it looked quite right, however, if you find any bugs, please let me know! There is also a little secret silly bonus!

Apple Wallpaper, retro color ribbons

It’s been a while since I’ve done something so here is a little something, a nice, clean, simple Apple retro style wallpaper. It has ribbons and the Apple logo in the retro colors, a nice font saying Apple, etc… There is a black & white version, and versions without ribbons in the upper right corner are also included. All available in a lot of sizes:

MailBox icon, red and blue version

I was planning to change my mail icon for quite a while now, it’s been a simple envelope for ages. So this is a mailbox, inspired by the mailboxes from Iceland. The original mailbox is red but I’ve added a blue version because maybe some people might not like red. I’m using the red one at the moment, and I absolutely love it. If you experience any problems with it, please let me know so that I can fix them.

The icons are 300ppi (pixels per inch) and come as usual as ico, icon, icns, icontainer and png (512, 256, 128, 64, 32, 16). Mac, Windows, Linux compatible. They are free to use on your desktop, personal use only! Contact me for everything else. Read more

The Simpsons Redrawn Wallpaper Pack finished!

I’ve recently posted that I was working on a “Simpsons project” but that I had to put it on the shelf for a while. Today I’ve finally finished it! It is a simple and very clean wallpaper with the five main characters, from left to right: Bart, Homer, Marge, Maggie and Lisa.

All the characters are based on existing drawings of them but I’ve 100% redrawn them in photoshop giving them a more modern look. I’ve spent hours of watching The Simpons when I was younger and this is my way to give shout-out to the Simpsons and their creators. Read more

WIP – The Simpsons wallpaper and maybe icons

A few weeks ago I started this project because I wanted to do something different. At first I was only going to make a Homer icon, but he looked so nice at 512x512px that I decided to make all the family members and turn it into a wallpaper.

After I’d finished Homer I started with Lisa but after her a client contacted me to do some icon designing so I had to put “the simpsons” project on the shelf, today I’ve took it off the shelf. I’m going to do Bart today and the other ones in the next few days/weeks. Stay tuned! I’ll update when I finish it.
